Branson Missouri Wedding Photography: Dogwood Canyon

When I first arrived to photograph Lori and Tom's wedding at Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, I knew it was going to be a beautiful location.  After all, the sign does say, "Welcome To Paradise".

But I didn't know just how beautiful it would be.  Nestled in the Ozark Mountains between Branson and the Arkansas border, Dogwood Canyon is truly a hidden gem.

I arrived about an hour early and snapped some shots around the park, all the while thinking what a perfect spot it was for a wedding.

The wedding chappel is located about 10 minutes from the entrance to the park.  There's a beautiful, tree-lined stream behind it, and a nearby cabin to use for final preparations.

About 15 minutes before the ceremony was scheduled to start, one of Lori's bridesmaids came out, tapped me on the shoulder, and said, "OK we're ready".  Here are a few of my favorite pictures from her wedding...

After the ceremony, we went outside to take some pictures of the just-married couple and their bridal party...

These are just a small sample of the memories I captured for Lori and Tom on their wedding day.  Please join me in congratulating this very special couple!

From Dogwood Canyon and Table Rock Lake in Branson, to the many churches and parks in Springfield, the Ozarks region of Southwest Missouri offers some of the most scenic backdrops for weddings (and wedding photography) in America.

Branson Missouri Wedding Photography: Table Rock Lake, Branson

Nick and Candy wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of their hometown of St. Louis for their wedding... so they headed south to Branson for their special day!

The couple chose an intimate, wooded setting for their ceremony at Table Rock Lake State Park, about a 15-minute drive from the Branson strip.

I met Candy at her hotel, the Surrey Inn, and took her outside to the courtyard to capture some pre-ceremony bridal portraits...

Afterwards, we headed over to Table Rock Lake park. Her father had just flown in from Atlanta and met her when she arrived. It was a very emotional moment for both of them...

The natural beauty of Table Rock Lake park provided the perfect backdrop for the couple's small, intimate ceremony in front of their family and close friends...not to mention their wedding photos!

Rev. Shannan D. Morris from Ozark Mountain Weddings served as the officiate, and did a wonderful job.

After the ceremony, we found a quiet spot to take some wedding pictures of Nick and Candy together as husband and wife for the very first time...

Springfield MO Wedding Photography: Sarah and Ben

A beautiful spring day.  An outdoor ceremony in the garden.  A handsome groom.  And a whole lot of fun!

This was a wedding that every bride dreams of.

As Sarah was making her final preparations, I asked her how she felt. "Nervous," she said.  But she certainly didn't look like it...

The outdoor garden wedding ceremony took place in a white gazebo which was decorated perfectly...

This quaint garden setting was perfect for the after-ceremony formal photos, too.  I always start by asking the bride and groom to spend some time alone before the rest of the wedding party joins them.  Sarah and Ben were happy to oblige:-)

From there it was on to the indoor wedding reception... which was truly a blast to photograph as everyone was happy and ready to par-tay!

Springfield MO Wedding Photography: Jennifer and Edmund

When Jennifer and Edmund first contacted me and told me they were planning a wedding at Raymond James Stadium--home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers--all I could say was, "that's gonna be a REALLY fun wedding to shoot".

Turns out I was right!

They started out in separate skyboxes on either side of the stadium...

The ceremony even featured a harpist... something you don't often see at a football stadium!

Then again, you don't often see the rest of these scenes in a football stadium, either.  That's what made it so fun...

After a truly memorable wedding ceremony on the pirate ship, we went down on the field for some "formal" shots of the bridal party...

From there we were on to the stadium's banquet facilities, where Jennifer and Edmund's friends and family were treated to a one-of-a-kind reception...

Whether you need a wedding photographer in Springfield or Branson, MO... a football stadium in a destination city... or anywhere in between... we'll be ready to capture the memories and details that you'll remember for a lifetime.  You can see more wedding pictures from Jennifer and Edmund's special day, plus wedding photography prices, packages and more at http://www.coolchangephotography.com/.
