Eric and Jenny: A Vintage Country Wedding

Eric and Jenny chose a beautiful, wooded setting at a private home in Nixa, MO for their outdoor, vintage country wedding

The chilly December weather, combined with the very classic and romantic love that this couple shares, complemented the vintage theme of their wedding perfectly.

We delivered over 300 final images to the couple, both with and without the "vintage" creative treatment you'll see in the pictures below.

It's a creative treatment that--in my opinion--is often overused by wedding photographers these days.

But sometimes, as in the case of Eric and Jenny's wedding, it really feels right.  I started shooting the couple's wedding photos as Jenny and her bridesmaids were making their final preparations...

Chateau On The Lake (Branson)

Fairy tales can come true, it can happen to you
If you're young at heart.
For it's hard, you will find, to be narrow of mind
If you're young at heart.

I thought I'd start this post with the words to that old Frank Sinatra song because it describes this couple - and their wedding day - very well:)

Chris and Deb's wedding was one of the most beautiful I've shot this year, due in no small part to the very special love they share together.

Add a wonderful ceremony at the Forsyth Community Presbyterian Church, a beautiful reception at the famous Chateau On The Lake, and a bright, clear autumn day in scenic Branson, MO... and you indeed have the makings of a fairy tale wedding.

I started shooting the couple's wedding pictures as they were making their final preparations about an hour before the ceremony...

Tony and Allison's Wedding at the Veridian

Tony and Allison chose one of Springfield's most distinguished venues for their beautiful wedding and reception.

Located just off Park Central Square at 309 South Avenue, The Veridian Events Center offers everything from a two-story lobby/atrium, to a spacious ballroom, and even an outdoor deck.

As you'll see in the photos below, I was able to take advantage of all three spaces to capture Tony and Allison's wedding photos at the Veridion.

We started shooting their wedding pictures just as the bride was making her final preparations...

These are of course just a sample of the moments and memories that I captured for Tony and Allison on their special day.

You can see more pictures from their wedding, along with dozens of others, on our Springfield, MO Wedding Photography site anytime.  You can also find information about our affordable packages and prices, as well as a contact form if you'd like to check availability for your upcoming wedding!

As always, thanks very much for reading and please join me in congratulating Tony and Allison!
