Springfield, MO Engagement Portraits

If you're recently engaged and live in the Ozarks, you've probably considered scheduling an engagement portrait session with one of the many talented photographers in Springfield, MO.

While experience, availability, and of course prices are all important considerations, choosing the right photographer for your engagement portrait session ultimately comes down to one thing:

The pictures!

Lighting and composition are important too, but I've always believed that the key to taking great pictures of people is to make them feel as relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera as possible.

This is particularly important when shooting engagement portraits, because I'm trying to capture images of the natural love and chemistry that each couple shares.

Fortunately, I've become something of an expert when it comes to putting people at ease in front of the camera:)   Here's a collection of engagement pictures from various sessions I've shot over the last year or so in Springfield and Branson, Missouri.

None of these pictures are "posed".  I didn't tell the couples how to stand, kiss, or hold their hands.

It all came naturally, once they were comfortable about just being themselves in front of the camera.

The great thing about engagement portrait sessions is that we can shoot your pictures virtually anywhere photography is allowed in the Springfield and Branson areas.

Locations like Close Memorial Park in Springfield, MO and Moonshine Beach in Branson are very popular, and I love shooting there.

But if there's another spot that means something special to you, like the place you met or had a particularly fun time together, I'd encourage you to consider it as a setting for your pictures.

At Cool Change Photography, our engagement sessions typically last about 90 minutes, and generally result in at least 50 (if not many more) finished and retouched images similar to the pictures above.

I always encourage couples to bring along a change of clothes, as well as any props they'd like, too.

Our rate is $250 for the entire engagement photography package, which includes:
  • Unlimited photography for up to 90 minutes at your choice of location(s)
  • Complimentary retouch, color correction, and creative treatments on all final images
  • A password protected viewing gallery so you can view your finished pictures online.
  • All of your finished high-resolution images delivered on a CD, with a copyright release so you can order prints and enlargements from the photo lab of your choice.
If you have questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact us anytime.

Thanks for reading, and if you're recently engaged... congratulations!!

  1. Aw, this was an extremely good post. Finding the time and actual effort
to make a very good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a lot and never manage to get nearly anything done.

  2. The final step toward making your funny picture or video popular is to find the
right distribution. The goal with a funny picture is to have the photograph be almost
a blank canvas for you to put the punch line on. So, to
overcome this situation and to remain in a positive
mood laughter therapy is the best solution which can
be done by various ways by watching funny movies, by downlaoding some funny pictures
or by doing chit chatting of funny text with your dear freinds.

  3. They do not insert secret or additional advertising in our material.
One of my favorite ones is where the thanksgiving turkey is hiding from a guy, who apparently wants to
get him in the oven, by placing a lampshade on his head and standing on a
dresser so he looks like a lamp. Besides the Funny
Facts, the next app which will also give you lots of laughs is Funny Jokes, an app which you can download
    from Google Play Store.

  4. If you have a website, you can use Google Trends for your website
traffic to increase as well. This glass would cost less than $1000 and would be available to
almost all the people in Britain. I want to
mention a part of the Prime Law (Twelve Visions Party) which is part of Neothink.
